Hello everyone! My name is Naoto. Since June 2023, I’ve been offering online tutoring sessions through Preply.
For more about me, please check out my introduction page.
I’ve decided to start a weekly blog as a Japanese teacher today. While there are plenty of blogs from Japanese learners out there, blogs from the perspective of Japanese teachers seem to be fewer in number.
In this blog, I aim to share insights into Japan, focusing on its language, culture, and my experiences working with Preply.
If you’re reading this, you likely already have some interest in Japanese. However, I hope to deepen that interest even further. What sparked your curiosity in Japanese? Anime? Video games? Work? Or perhaps it was something entirely unexpected?
No matter how you came to be interested, I’m thrilled that you are. In my own language learning journey, I’ve studied English, Chinese, and Thai. Learning new languages has opened up different worlds and perspectives to me that I hadn’t known before.
Japanese, my mother tongue, is a unique and intriguing language comprised of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Additionally, as an island nation, Japan has cultivated unique cultures like anime and video games.
I look forward to sharing the fascinating aspects of Japanese language and culture with you.
Join me on this journey to explore the joys and intricacies of Japan and its language!
